Game Drives in Masai Mara Triangle

The main activities of our guests are game drives in one of the best wildlife areas in the world. Mara Siria Camp is specialized in tailoring game drives to suit every guests need and our specially trained, experienced and multilingual safari guides will ensure that each game drive in the Masai Mara will be an unforgettable safari.

The Masai Mara is an all-year-round destination – offering regular sightings of the Big Five members (elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, rhino), a big variety of plains game and birds – not to forget the stunning landscape consisting primarily grassland (making game viewing easy) and riverine forest with clumps of the distinctive Acacia trees.

Visitors can especially enjoy one of the world’s most stunning wilderness events – the annual migration of over one million wildebeest from the Serengeti to the Mara including the dramatic Mara River crossings.

Our Game Viewers

Our custom-built open sided 4×4 game drive vehicles guarantee a window seat for every guest and are designed to offer unobstructed panoramic views.

Our guests can enjoy early morning game drives, afternoon game drives or full day game drives within the less crowded Mara Triangle – the remote area with one of the highest concentrations of wildlife to encounter and best scene to experience the dramatic river crossings.

Early morning game drives start just before sunrise, with a cup of hot Kenyan tea or coffee. Out on the savannah, as the sun rises, it is most likely to see predators hunting and feeding their prey. On request, we also provide bush breakfast for guests.
Afternoon game drives start after a delicious lunch and some relaxed time at the camp in the late afternoon, returning to camp just before the darkness falls upon the Masai Mara.
Full day game drives start just after breakfast and guests can enjoy the stunning wildlife until the late afternoon. We provide a delicious picnic lunch with chilled drinks in the bush – watching crocodiles and hippos by the hippo pool.

Responsible Game Driving

Mara Siria Camp’s management and its drivers are fully committed to responsible game driving. All our safari guides are bronze and silver rated professionals. Guests and guides are obliged to respect the game drive rules set by the Mara Triangle Conservancy to protect visitors, the wildlife and the environment. That includes obeying the speed limits, no off-road driving, unless it’s in permitted areas to see big cats, no shouting, clapping or chasing of animals, no alighting from vehicles at river crossing points, keeping certain distance from the animals, maximum vehicle number at wildlife sightings, no littering and leaving the park by 7:00pm.
