  Honeymoon Heaven - It’s hard to put into words how amazing our time at Mara Siria was. We came here on our honeymoon and had the most amazing experience.

The setting... Read more of the camp is just beautiful, it is so serene and peaceful and the view is just as incredible as it looks on the photographs. Do make sure you take a dip in the plunge pool and take a quiet moment to appreciate this beautiful place.

The rooms are comfortable and clean and exceeded our expectations of what some may deem a “basic” camp. The added touches of hot water bottles at turn down were much appreciated.

The staff are one of the best things about this camp. They were so genuinely caring, kind, and thoughtful and we were extremely sad to leave. We enjoyed our bush walk with Daniel on our final morning which they kindly rearranged for us as we missed it on our first day due to flight delays. This was a wonderful thing to do as we got to see some wildlife on the escarpment on foot and felt very safe the whole time. Daniel taught us so much and about the Masai culture, flora and fauna and we loved chatting with him on this short walk.

Oscar was so friendly and we enjoyed getting to know him during our sundowner drinks on the escarpment which was beautiful and a wonderful experience.

Our guide Jacob was phenomenal. His knowledge of Mara was incredible and learnt so much and had the most amazing time on our drives with him. Jacob was so friendly, intelligent and thoughtful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. We made memories that will last a lifetime and we couldn’t be more grateful to Jacob for all he did for us.

The team at the camp went above and beyond for us especially catering to my husband’s food allergies and even gave us the recipe for the eggless pancakes they made for him. The food was absolutely delicious and we especially loved our bush breakfast and lunch. Also, the office team who supported us when we had flight delays from our previous safari location and communicated with the airlines to make sure that we made it to Mara Siria on our expected day.

We were so well looked after and we had the most amazing time on our honeymoon at the Masai Mara. We will wholeheartedly be recommending Mara Siria to all our friends and family to stay here and we hope we can return some day. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

This includes, of course, the tents, but also technical aspects such as eco-friendly electricity everywhere, Wi-Fi, and running hot and cold water.
Otherwise, I do not want to repeat myself; it is always a wonderful experience and pure relaxation for me.

Read more It’s just a short drive to the entrance gate of the park. The staff is very professional, friendly, and attentive, and the food is excellent. You can have breakfast outside at a table while enjoying the view of the Mara Triangle, with zebras grazing nearby. My tent was tastefully and beautifully furnished and decorated, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was also very nice. Everything was perfectly clean. In the evening, while I was having dinner, the tent was prepared for the night; the bed was made and a hot water bottle was provided.
The game drives organized by the camp in an open-air vehicle were also excellent, led by a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. During a full-day game drive, I was able to enjoy a luxurious breakfast and lunch in the park, with tables, chairs, and everything else provided.
The camp operates in an eco-friendly manner; there are no plastic bottles, and electricity and hot water are provided by solar energy.
I would always come back to Mara Siria Tented Camp. It offers so much comfort and in my opinion the location is even better than inside the park because of the great views.
